Botox and hyaluronic acid

Botox and hyaluronic acid are used for medical facelifts. Safe botox and hyaluronic acid are absorbed by the body over time. Unlike cosmetic surgery, these substances' effects are reversible. Commonly used by a growing number of patients, botox and hyaluronic acid have proven their efficacy and harmlessness.

Hyaluronic acid

  • Filling wrinkles.
  • Restoring volumes.

Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in our body. Its function is to carry and bind water in our skin.

Today, it is synthetically manufactured. It is available under different names, in different concentrations and with different durations.

It allows the smoothing of fine lines and the filling of deep wrinkles and dark circles.

It also allows the restoration of the volumes of the cheekbones, lips and temples.

It corrects the rounding of the face and chin. It improves elasticity and skin hydration.

  • Forehead wrinkles.
  • Inter-eyebrow wrinkles.
  • Wrinkles around the eyes.

It acts on the muscle contraction causing the wrinkles.

Botulinum toxin (Botox) has been used for more than thirty years for many medical indications in ophthalmology, neurology and ENT.

After noticing incidental regression of wrinkles while treating blepharospasm with botox, its use was extended to the treatment of wrinkles.

Botox doses used in aesthetic medicine are minimal and non-toxic.
